Quota International of San Luis Obispo has raised over $100,000 for service projects. Donations and services have been made since the club was founded in 1979. The following are service projects we have supported over the years. We connect with those who care.

  • Camp Hapitok , a summer camp across from Cuesta College which offers services to hard of hearing and speech impaired children
  • Cuesta College re-entry program
  • Women's Shelter of San Luis Obispo
  • Phonic ear system for Cuesta College auditorium
  • Audiometer for schools to test children's hearing
  • Teenage Academic Parenting program
  • TDD machine for the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce
  • Infra-red hearing equipment for the Christopher Cohen Performing Arts Center
  • Holiday baskets for families in need
  • Repair and replace hearing aids
  • Amplifier systems for school classrooms
  • Infant equipment for the non-profit helicopter hospital system, Cal Star
  • Funding 2 exhibits on hearing at the SLO Children's Museum

Quota clubs around the world are involved in a wide range of service projects with special emphasis in Hearing Health and assisting disadvantaged women and children. We are now in 14 countries since being founded in 1919. Quota International links people of all ages, occupations, and nationalities in a worldwide network of service and friendship.
